Mine are on "auto" most of the time, so they turn on when it detects it is necessary.

Bruce, any place else I can find them. I don't have an ebay or PP account. I'm also quite dubious of potential Chinese sellers on fleece bay. such as a web site I found masquerading as Phillips, is actually China.

I went to the Phillips US web site, and search for the + part number, and it also returns to the C1 bulb.

What are your suggestions for the fogs?

Anyway, I got it sorted, and ordered from the Japanese seller. Anyone have any idea why these are not sold in the US or Canada, seems a bit odd.

Default Lack of use - no exercise.

Maybe that is why the flipper is probably sticking - maybe it just needs exercise.

I got the bulbs ordered from your link. Any suggestions for the fogs to improve them? I use them as fogs/driving lights, but mostly fog/rain.

I'll try to repair the flapper when I pull it apart for the bulbs.

Default PIAA H11 2500K Yellow Ion Halogen

I removed the factory white H11 halogens and installed PIAA H11 2500K Yellow Ion Halogens.

I regard them as good. I call them "snow lights" as we do not get alot of fog up here but blinding snowstorms can be common. I do not like driving in snow regardless, (Hawaii or California look good in the winter.), but at least the yellow colour does not bounce back in your face and illumination to the side of the road into the ditches is good.

I try to stay out of the ditches, hence knowing where the edges are helps. In blinding snow, distance means nothing, the problem is the next 100 ft and not going off the side.

An alternative if rocks have smashed the factory fog lights and they need replacement is something just introduced by Osram, a LED DRL / white fog / cornering light that replaces our 90mm fog assemblies. The problem to me is the white colour; that just does not work in snow or fog to my mind.

I got all the bits in today, bulbs from Japan, the PIAA Yellow H11's. Definately a different color. I did an operation on the left headlight and the flipper seems to be working now. It was quite tricky, as the screws were very tight.

Next project is to mount 2 ARB Intensity LED lights. The issue is the mounts that come with it are pretty big. So some kind of stainless steel mounting adapter needs to be fabricated to attach them under and behind the grill. Can't seem to find a Stainless fabrication shop in the area.

Default Galvanized or chrome?

You might end up with normal steel and then either galvanize or chrome the bracket.
