Default heater core connection question

I did a search but no luck. Does anyone have any tricks for connecting the pipes that connect to the heater core? the Brits have some nifty connectors to are too dang small, It takes three hands but there is little room in the passenger footwell. Having a heck of time with this Thanks Phil

Got it! If you ever find yourself in a position where you have to remove and reconnect the lines to the heater core, take heart. What a pain in the tail. After hours of trying, I finally got the two lines connected. Tips:
1. use a little WD-40 on the o-ring,
2. buy a LR OEM o-ring,
3. I wrapped a bit of duct tape about an inch to either side of the connection, it gave me a bit more grip on the pipes, they are really tight and there isn't much room for your fingers, the duct tape enabled me to pull the pipes together
4. Use longer screws/bolts than are on the clamp from the factory and start the screw/bolts so that when the clamp is positioned correctly, you can start to tighten it without fiddling with the screw/bolt and
5. then have your wife, girlfriend, buddy or local homeless person positioned the clamp and tightened things up, now just hope it doesn't leak.....we will see.

Phil
