Last night the land rover wouldn't start. When i turn the key the lights come on and a clicking noice. The starter isn't turning at all. My intial thought is the starter is out but i am not sure.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've had the clicking noise be both an issue with the starter and an undercharged battery - I'd check the battery first by trying to give it a boost.

 

I tried jumping the car and the clicking noice was the same. I measured the voltage at the battery while the jumper cables were on it and it was 13.XX volts. The battery by itself is only showing 10.XX volts...

 

Have the battery tested. 10 Volts is too low.
