Stick with the 4.4 / 4.2 engines and you'll be fine. I believe mechanically the LR3 and the Sport are quite similar just different bodystyles. Also this is just my opinion but I'd get a somewhat nice one rather than the cheapest one you can find. I'd just rather pay more and get a nicer truck with less things needing fixing.

 

So far all LR4 here are over $14k
The last LR3 deal is $7k and $10k for the RR Sport.

Found a 2008 RRS SC with 105k miles for $8K... fishy?

 

Hi. I selected the LR3. That body is impossible to beat. All looks ok. Driving ok, no chain sound all good until stopped at home.




Nasty oil leak. Looks coming from the passenger area…
Looks like is worst if the LR is parked on a slope. If is flat I can’t barely see a drop.

I was thinking that too looks like coolant or something 🤔. Check your coolant reservoir and see if its low. Im not familiar with the V6 and it's coolant weak points

 

Can be power steering, is low. But looks more engine oil. Tuesday will go to doctor.

that is definitely coolant.

 

In person don’t looks or smell like coolant. But I will check. Also bottle is full in comparison with PS canister.
