Default Help identifying this plug

This plug is under the dash on the driver's side (LHD) and comes out of the bundles of wires that come through the firewall and sit to the left of the driver's left foot. For the life of me I can't figure out what it goes to. Any thoughts?

yellow is usually air bag. That looks like C0256 in the service manual. Is your airbag light on?

Sorry. I was looking at D2 stuff, not LR3. Ignore what I posted.

If its airbag the harness should also be wrapped in yellow tape or loom, unless rover ignores that standard

Though airbag harnesses in my d1 are wrapped yellow

They are on d2 also. The only reason I was going there is because the plug looks JUST like the one in the D2 manual:

I will check it again when I get home. I hope that is what it is. is there a manual like the one that you showed for the LR3 or the RRS. Unseenone sent me a link but it didn't seem nearly that detailed, or I am not looking at the right pages. thanks phil

The LR3 manual is a bunch of pdf's made from printed websites. It's not very good. There IS a wiring manual PDF in there that is very good, and very much like what is in RAVE for the older stuff, but I haven't found a connector manual, but I may have just over looked it so far.

It looks like that plug MIGHT be fore adaptive cruise control, which was not an option on LR3, but was an option on RRS. But I'm not 100% See a mention of the plug (ypc109860) here: DISCO3.CO.UK - View topic - ACC (adaptive Cruise Control) Retrofit

Hello did anyone over the years know where this yellow plug goes. Found and old post about it. It has different wires coming out of this plug.
Someone posted about this plug and hoped someone knows where it goes to thanks

I believe Jafir was correct in his post 9 years ago; to me that is the adaptive cruise control module plug. I am currently retrofitting ACC to my LR3 and acquired the control module and plug to do the wiring. I will check to see if my 06 has this connector, would same me some time. Here is a picture of the 9-wire ACC controller connector I have and it looks like a spot-on match for the pictures at the top of this thread.
