Default Help with transfer case

So my transfer case was leaking after replacing the transmission pan and filter, I'm guessing I jacked the transfer case up too much. I pulled the transfer case and the seal was definitely off kilter. Behind the seal though the bearing had failed - 6210 C3. My question is how do I remove this snap ring and get the bearing out. I got large set of snap ring pliers, don't know if there's a trick to it. I've attached some pics. I was able to source an SKF bearing on ebay.

You have to disassemble the transfer case to replace the seals on the LR3/LR4. If you go through with it, that’s a good time to replace bearings and inspect the chain and clutch pack.

If you rotate the circlip does it have a recess somewhere that you can get a pick under it to prise it out ?
