I am new to this site and i was looking for information on how if possible to change my halogen lights on my 2006 LR3 to HID, without using those conversion kits. I was looking on ebay for front headlights from HSE models but i was told the wiring is not the same, if so is it possible to still convert them or do i have to install those aftermarket kits they sell?

 

The xenon lightson the LR3s were factory options, and the entire lighting assembly is different - it isn't just a matter of switching the bulb. You're either going tohave to get a conversion kit, or some form of aftermarket lighting kit that can change it for you.
