Has anyone switched out the orange hitch receiver lock? My key broke inside the lock and now I can't get it out. I know BP of Utah (Rover Connection) sells them for like $30.

 

Pretty simple, takes all of 5 minutes to do. You will have to knock out a roll pin holding the green lock handle to the hitch. Once that is out, remove by pulling, install new handle and tap in new roll pin with hammer.

 

do you know if the knb500023 will work without a key or do i need to purchase new one, it said in land rover book key is not removable when detached from vehicle but some how lost mine
