Where did you order just the nipples from? Used to be you had to order all new lines.

 

Oh I got all new lines, but also got the 12mm couplers just the lines are solid and I decide to terminate and splice in new nipples.

 

Update:

I think I found the culprit! As Nevilusa suggested, I pulled the AC drain lines. Immediately upon pulling the driver side water came pouring out of it. I hadn't run the car in about two days and yet water was still in those lines. I did as his video suggested and first blasted the lines with about 150psi. When I unclamped the passenger side I saw this:



I got a small pick and out came 3 rocks and some grit. I clamped the driver side, blasted the passenger with air (just in case they cross-over). Then I got some of my 3d printer filament spool and unwound a few feet to feed into the lines and run back and fourth. I fed them through then pulled them through from under the vehicle. Dislodged a small piece of plastic from the driver side one.

Finally I got a bottle of water and poured it down the passenger side, at a pretty quick pace to see if it could keep up, and sure enough it drains very quickly now. Same with the driver side.

Given that water was STILL pooled in the lines after 2 days of sitting, and now it evacuates water as fast as I can pour a quart in, I think I may have found the culprit.

The front sunroof drains look new, I'll still check the rears. I have already done the A-pillar TSB and cowl, so fingers crossed folks!

When the AC drain line clogs and starts pouring all over your wife's feet on the interstate at 75mph you learn real quick about cleaning out that hose. In my BRZ the fan is behind the glove compartment and dumps on the passenger floor, I don't sit on the passenger side but she who already doesn't like the car does...

With how clogged those are, I would check again soon. If there was debris in the drains then there may still be debris floating around the core box.
