How to lock the suspension on my lr3???

Hi, when i lower my car to its lowest level
, and move the car to more than 30km i think, the car goes on normal heigth , how can i leave my car down? , so the rims look bigger!!.. AND leaving it low , will it afect anything on the car? is there any problem leaving it with the suspension low?...Thanks

No you cannot lock the vehicle in access mode and drive normally the only thing you could do is make the height sensor rods longer. if you shorten the rods it raises the vehicle in all modes so if you make the ros longet it will lover your vehicle. I have never tried lowering only raising In theory it will work. just put a 285/60 or 265/65 and it will fill the wheel well up.

Lowering the vehicle makes it ride like someone removed the springs and bolted the tires straight to the frame. Surely your not talking about lowering the LR3 to access mode and drive 70 mph down the highway like that. You will need a kidney replacement by the time you get to where you're going.
But if that's what you actually had in mind, like DRZ said, modifying the rods is the only way, short of making a spring conversion and cutting the springs short which will again give you the same ridicously rough ride. Buying an LR3 to turn t into a low rider is almost along the lines of rebuilding a Defender to turn it into a dragster. Blasphemy [sm=badidea.gif]
