Last year I had to do some major cleanup and repairs after the floorboards were soaked due to the usual LR3 drainage syndrome. I also need to do something about the windshield cowl as I noticed my fresh air filter was damp after a recent car wash. I also need to inspect and tackle the front suspension soon as my front end has been clunking for some time. I also need to do a preemptive fix on my tailgate latch before it breaks. I also need to adjust my passenger rear door latch as it's been buggy lately. I also need to do the interior thermometer fix as I noticed cold air coming out of the top vents and hot air coming out of the lower vents simultaneously on a recent road trip. I also need to clean my battery as there is severe corrosion developing on the negative lead. I also need to flush my transmission fluid as I've noticed some hesitation in the morning. I also need to wax my car because it has never been waxed in the five years that I've owned it. I also need to get a life.
Rough, spend an hour in the D1 forum. It'll make you feel better.

33,800 miles on my 2008 LR3! EPB module replaced under warranty. Other than that, no problems! Knock on wood!

91,000 on mine. Altenator replaced at 85k (drowned it in muddy water), rear upper inner front and rear A-arm bushings are worn out (anyone else?) just ordered replacement. Suspension light continues to be a nightmare, but its just a simple fix i have the parts for but am to busy fixing other cars to fix my own! (Failure to vent gallery, cured by a Rover TSB replacement of dryer and exhaust vent with additional holes). Spark Plugs soon! Changed the diff fluid and TC fluid recently as well. I use it like a truck, consistenly pulling trailers around. I do miss my disco II but the LR3 is just so much more solid and powerful. Regular offroad use when checking family and friends properties and fences.

What is the mileage others have reached before replacing plugs?

Thumbs up

93,612 on my LR3/06. Had the"tire issues" in first 22,000, miles had to pay first (i was 2,000 miles or so away from my local dealer) but then my dealership worked out a new set for me later to get out of the factory tires. Other than that had to replace a broken hinge bolt on the back hatch. I have loved this truck and most of the miles come from family vacations and spring break road trips with my son. Makes a great base camp with the seats folded down and an air mattress in the back... Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Glacier, Mt. Rushmore, Zion, Arches, Canyon Lands, Key West, Mt. Rainier, Everglades, Guadeloupe, Badlands, Carlsbad and Telluride. Good thing my work commute is only 3 miles.

2006 LR3 HSE now with 74k
I've had it since 10/2010 and 63k

New tires
New Front & Back pads & rotors
Air leak problem - led to air intake tube, EGR Valve and Oil Fill Tube replaced
Suspension Faults - replaced compressor and wire harness to suspension control valve that wouldn't carry a load
Hood Strut - obviously minor
Sunroof problem - won't open now after 1 forgetful night (left sunroof open and it rained) :-(
