Did you source the mirror from a junkyard or get a new one? I'm very interested in upgrading mine as well. Does the mirror have a compass direction? I'm finding that I miss this in my LR3.

Mine does not, but I have an 06. Maybe newer ones did.

No, Sorry.

It seems that the wiper stalk also need to be swapped(for the rain sensor). I have decided to not add the headlight auto/rain sensor module and just attach the mirror.

At this point it looks pretty straight forward, just need to do.

I did hook up the mirror to the connector and it worked, so I am confident that once I attach the mount point I'm good.

I believe it's the internal electronics. My wife researched it and there are 2 different part numbers.

There is one additional setting on the wire stalk for "auto" mode.

ok so change the stalk too


while i do see there are 2 part numbers, i do not see and auto setting on the stalk in my hse and it has the sensors, same exact settings as my se
