Default IID Tool won't write CCF

Maybe Im doing something wrong, I go into the CCF and change the TPMS to not equipped and then upload changes. It does its thing then asks me to turn ignition off and then back on, then continue, then it says upload failed. Am I doing something wrong?

I just encountered the same issue... Did you ever get it to work?

I didn't, GAP advised me to perform a hard reset of the vehicle but I haven't had the time to do it as of yet. My tpms light has not been giving me issues either so it hasn't been a priority.

I had the same issue, I could not flash after changing the TPMS setting. GAP advised to update the firmware on the tool, check the OBD connector (https://www.gap-diagnostic.com/faq-items/1647/) and then a hard reset. I'm wondering if there is a bug with flashing the TPMS or something. I never resolved it, I just fixed the sensor that was giving the error.

I am having the same issue on my LR3 - anyone ever figure this out on a LR3? I used the same IIDTool on my wife's 08 RR to turn off the TPMS and had no issues, I don't believe I even had to turn the ignition off and then back on, it just flashed it and it worked.

I have not tried a hard reset yet, but I am wondering with all these similar issues here if there is not some glitch with the LR3 and turning off the TPMS?? Anyone have luck doing this?

I had the same issue late last year, the response from GAP at the time was: This is actually a known bug. Simply update your tool to the Beta build 2530 for which I granted you access.

More details on page 36:

Not sure if a beta build is still required. Try updating your tool to the latest production firmware.

Yes, they responded to me with the same thing, update to "Beta Build 256x", which I did, and it worked! I guess the Beta Build is a long process before it becomes an official release.
