Installing CJB
Hello, I’m got the treaded 3 amigos faults , HDC Transmission and suspension. I replaced the tcm , replaced the battery and brake light switch. Want to check the connections and the pins of the CJB. This looks like a nightmare to disconnect and connect back. Any tips or suggestions how to out this back? TIA. I have a 2006 LR3 V8.

"Most of them [ECU's] are VIN locked and cannot be swapped from one vehicle to another. The transmission is an exception. It can be done via fast lane."
But, first, you might switch back to your old TCM. Look for corrosion inside the old TCM and clean connectors and give it a try. Check out Rene Clausen's video here:
To remove the CJB, follow this video:
I would also diagnose the ODBII port to check for proper voltage, grounds, and especially your CAN Bus, which for me caused "lost communications" errors. You'll need an inexpensive multimeter.
