Default Just installed new tires

For the past 3 weeks I have been reading posts from this forum to the next. I found this forum to be the most informative about tires for my 05 LR3 SE. The fact is that the GY Wranglers HP are horrible!!
Many tire installers warned me of the load rating being a problem on many other tires suggested, ie Nittos, Silient Armors.... The Rover being mainly a business and family commuter, but likes to get it dirty on the weekends, I went safe route.
I just put on the 255/60R-18 General Grabber AT 2. So far very happy. Drives great and looks great.
Hope I made the right decision.

Silent Armours also come in the "Pro-Grade" viriety for cases like yours, which more than matches the requirements for load rating on the LR3. The AT2 are also good tires. Hope they serve you well.

I have been looking at the grabbers. Do you have snow? keep me posted on how you like them
I have thought of getting them in the 285/60

I did ask about a different version of the tire. The shop know nothing more about it. I was glad. Have never been a fan the Goodyear.
So far I like the Generals. If anything, I can feel the bumps or RR tracks a bit more but drives better than GY HP's. It was raining a lot the day I put them on and drove as expected.
The tire fills the wheel well pretty good. Glad I didn't go with the 285's.
I live on the coast of Georgia, so no snow.
I could fully recommend the Generals. So far!
