Default Keyless entry help

Recently, both of my remotes stopped working. After some searching, I came across the repair to the green/white wire on the passenger sill plate area. I checked that, and it was all good. So I found the receiver in the headliner and checked for voltage going to it, and it's good as well. Of course, I can't check the module, but it does have 12v going into it. Does this sound like a bad receiver, or is there something else to check out?

Thanks

pull on 2 of the green wire on the splice under the pass sill, it will fall right apart. It has enough left to carry voltage, but cant carry any current.

I've tried that. The connection is solid and no corrosion at all. I tested the transmitters and they are both working fine.
