hi mate I've got this issue, how did you go about disabling the boot opening function?

A bit of a different twist on some problem

I always opened the BOTTOM latch of my tailgate with my key Land Rover button on my Range, and no other door, which seemed great in order to just access tailgate and close with car staying locked.
Not sure what happened, but recently that same button started opening the TOP latch… I do use my top latch sometimes, but only at the beach. How do I change it back? Have followed instructions here and it keeps opening top latch…thanks in advance!
