My wife noticed something hanging out from under her lr3 this evening. Turns out it was a piece of the rear LCA bushing(pics included)
It’s about half of the outer ring of the bushing.
I’ll get it fixed ASAP, I just wanted to make sure, for my wife’s peace of mind, that it’s okay to drive at least to the shop. It looks like most of it is still intact. What do y’all think?
Probably fine, thats just the end buffer of the bushing to reduce arm slippage and keep the arm in position. I have driven for months with far worse on regular bushings that literally fell apart in pieces upon removal.
Also reason #832 that poly bushings do not belong on these trucks...
