Default Leaking Power Steering Fluid..help!!

Hi..
About 14 months ago mechanic said Power Steering Hose looked like it needed replacement..it must have been 10 years old or so.He did it.
Two months ago Steering Fluid Leaking..took it in to another mechanic as other guy closed Shop and they changed O Rings that join Rack to Hose as previous were cut up for some reason.
Last week Fluid Leaking again..say Hose kinked near Rack leaking there and O Ring destroyed again ??
Let's get a new Hose ..we sit around for 6 hrs..They put in the new oem hose and O Ring (s)..on the way home Steering Wheel feeling tight and pebbley and not accurate...??? Maybe air in the line he says..
And now I think I see Fluid Leaking again ?
Please help..it is our only car.
Thank you for your help.

Next step is to take it back the shop that fixed it. I mean if you are paying them to fix something, it should be fixed correctly.

But what is problem likely to be?
They said if that didn't solve it the Steering Rack may need to be replaced..a $750 part : (

Without seeing it, its hard to say. That is what the shop is for. There is no reason to replace the rack if they say the lines is what is leaking.

It seems to be leaking where the hose attaches to Rack..

The seat where the hose goes in could be burred and that is what is cutting the o-rings.

Without first hand feedback, you are asking for something that is almost impossible to provide. Since you have a shop between you and the issue, a lot can be lost in translation.

I think you'll get more educated responses if you have the shop provide photo(s) of the problem areas to you and then perhaps you could put them up here so others can put your descriptions to the actual images.
