Since many people seem to be against lift rods full time due to safety concerns, any ideas on if you can "lock" the off road height in so it will not lower when you reach 31mph? I would like to get a lift rod but a max of 2"! Ideas, thoughts?

You have a few different options, I run Sasquatch rods (you need to get a alignment after installing the rods) I also have a IID tool to set the height ( I highly recommend this tool) or you could always get the coil option. I don't have coils and honestly would never change over.

Huh?

Locking the off-road height in would be equivalent to running rods full-time.

Just do what you want to do, but be aware of the risk. I agree with Niver that the IIDTool is highly recommended and will allow you to run at whatever height you'd want/need, within reason.
