Went to store the LR3 for a few weeks, with a newly broken driver door handle. Parked it, and locked it up.

Just went to unlock.....naturally battery dead, so cannot open via fob......and just realized cannot open drivers door
with key...as the mechanism is broken. Suggestions.....

You will need a charged jump box.

Remove the engine skid plate and connect the red to the power going to the starter and ground the other clamp and this will put 12V back into the system and charge the battery. Once charged enough you should be able to unlock using the fob, pop the good and removed the battery so it can be fully charged or changed.

Another method is the charged jump box connected to wires to the bulbs that shine on the licence plate

Awesome....was beginning to think of ways to access the battery.....was thinking along the lines of manually triggering the hood release....
but these sound better....will definitely give it a try.....
