Default lone wire

Ok so I had my heater core replaced recently and I am still having trouble with my heater but that is another story. This is for all the master mechanics out there. I was lifting the carpet in my 05 LR3 to clean all the coolant off the floor board when I noticed this guy. Can't seem to figure out where he goes. Its a LHD SE. Any help?

Default probably the solution to your problem

My GUESS is that either goes to a sensor or one of the air door motors. Regardless, it is probably the solution to your problem.

Someone on the forum here will know what it is. Those are good jpg's and you did well just finding the cable.

I actually downloaded all of the wiring diagrams from the Topix website a while ago (and would be happy to post them somewhere if anybody has a suggestion where). I haven't looked through ALL of them, but looking through the climate control sections and a few others, the ONLY thing that I can find that shows a brown and black wire together has to do with the Fuel Burning Heater (which we obviously don't have in the US). I'll keep looking through and let you know if I find anything else, but that's all I got at the moment. :P

Default Footwell courtesy light wiring?

Each footwell, the drivers side and the passenger side has a footwell courtesy light.

Are both working?

That end reminds me of the connector that inserts into the bulb holder re the courtesy lights.

There's no place easy & hassle free. I give people the link to download hassle free, when they send me a PM with e-mail address for the service manual, which includes that.
