Default lose of gas pedal engine stall

well past 2 days we have been intermittently losing the gas pedal and the engine shuts off, always restarts just dangerous, waiting on the mechanic, ideas?

Perhaps a badly fouled throttle body.

Could be a faulty throttle body sensor.

cleaned throttle body and maf, made sure all was tight no corrosion in connectors, oil fill cap and tube tight and still losses throttle, stalls when coming to a stop

this is no longer intermittent, everytime you slow to stop or turn the engine stalls

I did not remove what I assume is the iacv cause it looks like there are coolant pipes going into a plate under it ?

thoughts?

well after a bunch of pain in the *** stuff today I finialy realized it is out of gas at 1/4 tank guess need a sender

spoke to the mechanic he said there are 2 senders, the front goes bad and they are so hard to replace even with tank out that under warranty they used to swap the entire tank as a unit for a bad sender, wow

Sometimes it is a sensor in throttle body , that gets cooked and one has to replace the whole unit as the sensor cannot be purchased separately . That is what actually happened to me few years back and yes there are coolant pipes going into a plate as well to answer your Q. Tom. cheers
