Lost Key , about to loose my mind.
Hello,
so my wife accidently threw away our car keys. Let me just say it has been an adventure.
From Land Rover Dealers asking for $1000 to then saying they don't work on cars older than 10 years.
To them telling me its a month out.
So i went ahead and i got a new used ignition switch with a key. Then i bought a virgin key from amazon from $25 each. Bought 2.
I went to the local locksmith and then he said that to make the program the immobaliser key it requires EPROM programming.
What do i do?

Yeah you're in a tough spot. What dealer said they don't work on cars older than 10 years?? What a waste of a dealer. You may need to replace the CJB with 2 new keys. I'm not sure if a GAP tool can even do that.
