Not around here, they specifically say they have the dye or not. It is not just automatically in there. And oddly most that have dye also have oil, never add oil unless you know exactly how much is needed.

You can rent gauges from the auto parts store, worst case you can buy a bottle adapter that comes with a gauge, also for proper repair you are going to need a vacuum pump to test and evacuate the system before charging.
If your system pressure goes to 0 that fast you have a massive leak, good idea would be to start looking for oil spots, also you can add dye to help you pinpoint the leak (will need UV light and yellow glasses as well) but it's possible that you can simply hear the hissing if the leak is that large.
Rear AC lines are prone to leaking due to corrosion, but also could be simply an o-ring at the connection.
Mine needs compressor, I can see the dye all over the front of it, this is what it looks like to a naked eye, yellow glasses make it more obvious.

Thank you both. I dont see any oily substance at the obvious spots (Not saying thats not it still looking) I need to try to locate that rear connection spot. If I have put in part of this can and it leaks instantly in theory I should see some residue where ever that is..

Whats the process for the Rear AC delete? Id prefer to keep it but might help get some AC in the mean time then revise the rear later.

[img alt="So upon further learning. It looks like maybe the rear ac delete was already done on this car? I see this open line going downward which I’m guessing is to the rear? Need to locate the other line.

Is that where the delete kit happens? Near the fire wall in the engine bay?

I’d love read ac. But if its bypassed sort of helps me tracking down the main culprate for now I feel.

You may never had had rear AC. If you did you would see the AC lines along the left side of the vehicle. Two methods for selection is to cap off the connection in the engine bay or replace the two line sections in the engine bay that have the "T" to go to the rear. Your pic does not make things clear since the lines are mostly hidden from view but I don't think I see any lines going downwards. Would be in that area.

Totally. I found the second line behind that one pictures a little further down. Those go downward. So it looks like the Rear AC is in fact Disconnected. I dont fully know what part Gets changed to have it or not have it. (im guessing the T you mention) but I dont see that at all. They go to / from the Condenser and compressor into the Firewall. As far as I can tell at the moment it's the condenser thats corroded and leaking. So Ordered a new one and will take off the front bumper ETC to get that in then take it to get vacuumed and go from there.

Well that does narrow things down. Also means the system has been very much worked on before. No need to remove bumper, it just slides out from between the radiator and crash frame. If anything removing the cooling fan and radiator helps although I only remove the fan and just push the radiator back toward the engine.

Agreed.. Thanks for that info. Do you need to losen the crash frame? Is the fan tough to get off?

Well if you must know, I did it like this...... The fan removal, can be easy or hell. Depends. Mine is always easy cause I take it off often and I put on a good dab of anti-seize.
