Default LR3/4 - Clean those roof rails!

Reminder to clean under these things. I think I skipped last year... Debris stuck in places eventually starts to compact and break down. That just leads to more moisture sitting in a spot. Never a good thing if you hate rust.

It's not homeless it has a house in the valley but it likes to go frolicking in the woods from time to time

Mine does, got a couple of large trees in the front yard yet hardly any debris under the rails.

Yeah....just wondering how much of that is from being parked outside. My '05 is parked in a garage. My '06 is not.

Speaking of frolicking in the forest; doing so this weekend in Oregon. CAN'T WAIT! Annual trip....wheelin' and camping with my homies. The anticipation is palpable.

My debris is a combo of being parked outside and lots of local trail fun.

I have a front runner roof rack. The rails were removed and it is open to clean every time I was the thing.

My Voyager rack should arrive soon, but I have no clue how it mounts.
