Default LR3 6-Spoke > 10-Spoke Rims

So I have the 10-spoke rims on my Silver LR3 SE. I love the look of my LR3 with the (halogen/HID?) premium headlights but I think the 6-Spoke rims the come on most of the HSEs makes the car look so much better. What do you guys think and is it easy/ how much would it cost to exchange my rims for 6-spoke ones?
Thanks guys

Default 10 spoke 18" inch?

Long term LR drivers covet the ten spoke 18" rims and give away the 19" six spoke.

You will notice that I boast that my HSE has the 18" ten spoke rims, well "18 inch wheels", but they are the desirable much treasured ten spoke rim factory wheels.

Actually I have both, the 18" for my winter tyres and 19" for summer rubber.

As to looks, I prefer the 18 ten spokers and tolerate the 19" six spoke, but each to his own.

If you plan any off roading, you want the 18"; 19" and 20" are for show cars.

I agree with the OP on this, but i'm not going to shell out money to change. Perhaps if a set pops up for sale cheap it would be nice to have two sets around for the seasons.

The 19s can be had cheap. That being said, I have Goodyear MT/Rs mounted on my 19s, which I love. I'll cry when they are all done because Goodyear doesn't make this tire anymore, and I also agree that I think the 6-spoke looks the best out of all the factory LR3 wheels...

Would trade a set of factory 19s for your 18s

I like the 18's and I know that 18" rims have better tire choices and are a little bit cheaper in price. Plus you get better sidewall coverage. 10 spoke rims look the best IMO!
As for getting 6 spoke 19" rims, you will not have any problems. People will be in line to trade for your 18" rims.

I have both sets of wheels, and I too like the 19" looks better. There is an oddball 5 spoke 18" that looks pretty good too.. it looks almost like the 6 spoke 19"

I also notice that if you stick to STOCK sizes, there seem to have been more aggressive tires offered over the years for the 19s. The Goodyear MTR and these.

I really like how those turned out. How was the pricing to get them done?

To thread poster, I would keep the 10-spokes or if you really want 19"s advertise to sell/trade them here or on expo if you want them gone. EVERYONE wants the 18" 10-spokes.
