How can you tell if you are running the latest software in your truck module thats suppose to fix the stop go hesitation in your lr3 that some people are mentioning about in these forums?

 

Its not the latest software causing issues, its the mismatch of programs. For example having a transmission ecu with an earlier update compared to the pcm. You are supposed to have them programmed together or else it leads to the hesitation.

 

The only way I know, is to hook up the SDD unit and select "configure existing module". It will compare what is installed with what is available. It will tell you if you have the current software, or if there is something new out.

Its not something that can be done by a DIY or something done via email. Vehicle must be in the shop.
