LR3 Dead Soldier
Hi all,
Three times so far this year I've returned home from business trips (Each lasting 2-3 weeks) to a dead battery. It starts ok with a jump though.
The dealer load tested the battery and checked for current draw while the car is off but didn't find any issues. Well, guess what I expect to happen in a couple of weeks after I get back from Europe? (rhetorical question ;>
Is it possible for the electronics to drain the battery so much when the vehicle is off?
Is my only recourse to have the car towed to the dealer the next time in order to help them diagnose the problem? (I don't see where that would help though).
I know these kinds of problems are the worst to solve, so I'm reaching out for any ideas.
Thanks,
Len
