Default LR3 exterior mirrors same as RR Sport?

Does anyone know if the exterior door mirrors in the Range Rover Sport are the same as LR3? The autowreckers have them listed together so that seems to be the case but wondering if anyone can confirm. Thanks

OK, thanks for the confirmation. Wreckers show a lot more for RRS than LR3. How many wires should I see coming out of the mirror? I am thinking of trying to pick up a pair on my way back from Mexico while passing through California.

I converted my LR3 mirrors to the RRS power folding mirrors. You need to replace the LR3 mirror switch with the RRS folding mirror switch (looks almost the same, but has a 'folding' marker on it and an extra connection for the fold wire), add a folding mirror relay and of course the RRS mirrors need to be power folding. Works great, some of the wires of the RRS are 'extra', there's no plug for them in the LR3 harness (electrostatic control?), but the mirror control and folding connections plug right in.

Thanks for the info. Did your LR3 have a mirror adjust button that could be pushed downwards when centered? I understand power fold mirrors was an option for the LR3 and these cars had an adjust button that you pushed down to fold the mirrors. I have a button like that and I added the necessary relay but I guess I don't have the mirrors. Wondering if I really need the RRS switch.

I did not have the fold-down button. Functionally from a mechanical perspective, the button I had was identical to the fold-down button (e.g., you could pull it down in the same way as the fold-down button activates the fold) but there was no electrical connection inside and the necessary pin was missing. The fold-down button looks almost identical except it includes a 'folding' paint symbol on the front and has 1 extra (8 vs 7 off the top of my head) electrical pin in the connector. And of course, the mirrors need to be fold-capable.

Thanks again. Sounds like I need the RRS adjustment button as well as the mirrors. Is there a way to positively identify the folding mirrors? I would not want to buy mirrors that turned out to not be the folding type.
