Hello fellow Rover peeps.

So i've been dealing with driver front CV axle type noise for awhile now.

That axle has been replaced 4 times in the last year....at first, the noise would go away and then come back a few hundred miles later or less.
Rear propshaft has been replaced with gkn already


So anyway, now i'm about to pull the front diff and rebuild it, but I wanted to get ya'lls opinion on the amount of play and noise in this video...


You can hear that ping pretty easily when I move the flange as you can see in the video.

This diff does have the standard front diff noise that all our Lr3 and 4 get. So a rebuild would fix that too.

 

I don’t know if that’s normal or not…never tried it. Does it make noises while driving?
