lol, how hard can you pull. I think there is a tab on the top side of the connector, but you really can't get two hands up there to squeeze and pull. Some post talk about disconnecting the drive shaft, but I can't even get the passenger side undone which I can get two hands into. I have to be doing something wrong

I just watched the AB video, indeed the usual squeeze tab design. About 4 seconds in he covers it.
Yeah, the driver side is a pain. But when I did mine I found that going in from above may be the way. Sure, its a pain to sorta position yourself above the vehicle but with the engine "beauty cover" removed you can see the sensor easily and I think even the connector. So maybe take a look from above, you may be able to do it all from up there.
