Default LR3 grinding sound. Please HELP!

I start have a grinding nose under car and little kicks in pedals (feel like ABS) when I turn LOW mode transfer case on and start driving it. And on control panel display axle pictures .

Low suspension or low range in transfer case?

Low range transfer case. It was if service 23k miles ago. I heard some noise but this one sound more violent.

Think I would have it checked, where are you driving in low range?

hill descend control makes grinding noises as it uses ABS for braking.

Good point, you can always post a video of the noise, that way we can try to tell what it is

Could also be the rear diff. I just went through this. Do you have the locker?

Yes I do have it. But noise only coming when low range engage.

Correct. I JUST had this (like I mean it was fixed last week). It was a clanking noise as if something was binding and then releasing. Felt and sounded like it was from right under my a$$....middle/rear of the vehicle. I thought it was a U-Joint or CV-Joint...maybe a bad prop shaft or stub axle. None of the above; it was my (locking) rear diff, which was all of about 20,000 miles old! I'd changed the oil twice in that span, too....for good measure.

It was in 4-Lo only, especially Rock Crawl, and it occurred even more reliably with increased torque like a hill climb and with some steering wheel input.
