Default LR3 HDC Fault

Hi guys, I have LR3 2007 V8 and its been giving me this fault ,HDC fault ,system unavailable suspension lowering, not able to adjust it and a very unconfortable ride, I already replaced the battery with the original one, replaced the brake light switch and the fault is still there, dealership has no idea whats wrong with it, and i dont know what to do anymore, anybody has any suggestions or had this problem before, any comment would be appreciated

I would be looking at the Terrain Response module, and wiring directly below it. Seen several that have had something spilled on them in the past that start to fail down the road.

If your dealership cannot figure this out, you need to find a more qualified place to have your truck serviced. It is not that complicated of a system.

Thanks roverguy7, for sure i need to get a more qualified place for the truck, I will look into the Terrain Response module as you said, do I need to replace that module or just clean it?

If there is corrosion inside the module, on the PCB, you probably won't be able to clean it effectively, if it is just in the wiring or connectors, then clean them up, and as long as the pins weren't damaged it should be fine.

Check the big grey and green harness connectors inside the console as well.

Hi there I had the same fault
When straight to the hdc control module inside cab replaced with brand new the lr3 it back up and running just rember when you replace it you have to have it programed back in hope this helps you out

Default Hdc lr3 terrain module

This is a common fault hdc terrain module inside the cab replace with new not second hand you could have the same problem later with second hand buy new I had it with mine spent fortune on mine then established it was that remember to have it programme back in to the suv thankyou hope this helps you out let me know Graham uk
