LR3 Hood release cable loose
#2
you can carefully pop off the grill with a long flathead screwdriver with the hood shut tight.
just find where the clips are and carefully work the screwdriver in and pull the grill out slightly.
from there you can take a pair of pliers, look under the front of the hood and find the cable. grab the cable with the pliers to the right of the drivers side latch and pull hard to the right. that'll pop it.
also, your fix for the cable is almost guaranteed to be the little junction box on the driver's side fender behind the coolant overflow. Its a little 1" or so black box where the the ends of the cable are connected (not physically, the box joins them). Just pop the cable back in, close the box and put 2-3 zip ties on it so it doesn't pop open again (common issue)
