Hood wont open!

Just picked up a repo LR3 for a steal

But the in cabhoodrelease doesnt work. Any ideas?

Broken cable? Slack adjustments way too tight? Try to pull on the in cabrelease leverwhile someone pushes down fairly hardon the front/center of the hood. If that doesn't work, you probably have a broken cable.
