Does anybody know if Ford is responsible for the LR3 body style? The reason I ask, is that my first SUV was a Ford Bronco II. IMHO, the LR3 looks like a sleeker version of my old BII.

 

although the BII and lr3s look similar, i highly doubt that ford influenced on their body style. however, i was wrong about the whole chrysler thing though too. i have an 86 BII and it is my daily driver. i also have a 2005 freelander and my dad has an lr3, maybe i'll have to go park the BII and Lr3 next to each other and do a comparison
