I own a v8 disco three . Whenever I start the car in the morning the engine pulsates . However this only occurs at Idle. I've heard everything from it needs a new fuel pump to the timing could be off or i i've heard everything from it needs a new fuel pump to the timing could be off or a vac issue. Anyone else experienced this ?

Are the RPM's fluctuating?

If so, clean your throttle body. Should solve it.

 

Moved to LR3 section.

 

mine was pulsating at idle, I cleaned the throttle body and it solved it.

 

I had my fuel line cleaned and it fixed my pulsing idle (imagine that included the throttle body as others noted).
