Default LR3 Radio Model Differences

Can anyone explain the differences between the radio models that came with these cars?

I have a 2005 LR3 SE with a Rosen DVD player mounted on the top above the center console.

The radio that is in there is the VUX500330. Is there any problem putting in a VUX500320, or one of the other models? Is there a difference?

Thanks

Aside from the color of the grey that changed over the years, the only different types are a single, or 6 cd model.

Part numbers changed many times due to fixes in the hardware that had been causing issues.

I don't have microcat on this computer to know if the two listed are compatible, and can check tomorrow, but just know that whatever issue there is with the higher number, the lower number will have that and possibly something else that had been known to fail at one time.

So did they fix the problem with the buttons breaking? I think I've got more broken buttons than good buttons.

And do you know if I buy just the face does that affect anything else, like Sirius? Because I can buy a new face cheaper than most of the used eBay head units.

The face can be replaced, and doesn't change operation of anything. There are different faces depending on color, but that's about it.

I'm not sure if the buttons are upgraded or redesigned at all on the new face, but I have yet to see one come back with more broken buttons, but that could just be customers being more careful after knowing they are suspect.
