I've been researching online, the manual, and on the truck itself but I can't seem to find the front recovery point(s) for the LR3. Does anyone knows where I can find them?
I know the rear recovery point is rught above the trailer hitch.

The entire plastic pannel under the front of the LR3 comes off revealing the recovery point. Looks like a skid plate but being plastic, it only LOOKS like one. hehe

 

The Manual says this is suitable for "on-road" recovery.
Does anyone have written confirmation of the specs for this recovery point, and if it can be used for offroad recovery.

I have used it for off road recovery a few times winched out and jerked out. I have even jerked out a few people using it. On a dealer run they took everyones off to allow easy acess for offroad recovery. If you want somthing more stout you will need to get a Rovertym or saffari guard bumper.
