Reaching out to the forum, to see what people opinion between Voyager vs Baja roof rack? I plan to use the roof rack as
- viewing platform at NASCAR races
- roof top tent for camping
- spare tire / hi-lift jack during off-road
- off-road light mount

Yeap.. the rack is going to be abuse...

 

I've been leaning towards the Baja, and for your purpose it might be a bit more rugged. Of course everyone has their own opinion. The Baja has also been recommended several times as the one to have.

Just based on the pictures and having seen both, the Baja appears more robust. They do make a model for a RTT with a flat back section. You could probably bolt on a sheet of plywood for the roof top events.

 

just do yourself a favor and buy the ones they use with the tents. don't try anything else or else you are screwed.

 

both racks can accommodate RRT. I already confirmed w/ the manufacturers
