An LR3 on the Rubicon

Thought I'd resurrect this old thread - I haven't been active on this forum for quite a while but just posted and SOS for a buddy stuck in the Yukon.
The Western National Land Rover Rally is coming up next month. We did put out a call for a pre-rally Rubicon run but in the end had no takers. Only two signed up and they both backed out. Instead a few of us from NCLR are doing the trail en-rout to the Rally - all of us have multiple Rubicon trips under our belts and would be happy to have somebody tag along if they wanted even though the 'official' run has been axed.
PM me if you're interested. And no, I still don't recommend doing it in an LR3. I'll be taking my D1 on 37" tires. Soooooo much easier!
