Is this possible to buy? I've search the web and found i can do this if i live in Europe, but alas the Middle East it is not.

The likelihood of you all jumping at me to say yet I've bought a ME upgrade whilst living across the pond is unlikely, but if you know of any dealer other than Navtech because they only sell north America and Europe. So short sighted!

No one can purchase updates for anywhere for the 3; for the 4 yes, but not the 3.

LR has decided to stop supporting the 3's Nav. 2012 was the last time updates were available unless they have recently decided to support the EU and I have not yet heard that.

so how would one go about updating to the 2012 version?

 

For the North America or EU update disc, search eBay or perhaps from your friendly Land Rover dealer.

Even the LR dealer probably cannot get the 2011/12 LR3 discs any longer so eBay is probably your only bet.

In doing an eBay search, a couple of months ago, I saw a few 2011/12 DVD discs but this time, all I see is older ones.

I am surprised to see that 2011/12 North America is available thru the Land Rover dealer for $US199.00. I thought it was out of stock, just out of date I guess.

I also see that the 2009/10 Middle East is available plus 2011/12 Europe.
