LR3 Servicing Kits

LR3 Servicing Kits
Has anyone used the servicing kits that LR spares offer to carryout the servicing yourself? mainly filters and plugs etc.
I'm about to do this myself and I've found the applicable kit (DA6087P) for my LR3 4.0ltr V6 at a cost of 45.00 GBP. It seems awfully cheap to me. I appreciate the oil change etc will also need to be done, but i'll drop this at the friendly garage to help; not least so they can dispose of the redundant oil, more safely.
Are there any pit falls that i need to know before i crack the bonnet up and peek inside?
Thanks in advance

I have had issues with aftermarket spark plugs on this engine, I would stick with factory, or Motorcraft(for a Ford Explorer) but their site isn't loading at the moment, so I don't know what brand they have. Also, good time to change out the spark plug wires too, I've had them break during removal, so good to have on hand if nothing else.
This engine is somewhat of a tight fit to do some repairs, but most of what would be done here isn't too bad, just use extra care with the plugs, they're not visible for the most part, and are at somewhat awkward angles.
