Hi All
My LR3 Air Spring is suffering with the air leakage and plan to replace with new one or repair.
May I know is it possible to repair the air spring ?
On the other hand , if the air spring need to replace , I found there are serval brand is available which can ship to my country (from LRdirect.com) , which is better ? it is a must to have the original brand ?

1. LANDROVER
2. DUNLOP
3. OEM
4. ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT

Thanks
Ben

Hi Ben - I recently had all my air spring struts (purchase OEM Replacement from Atlantic British) replaced on my 2006 Landrover LR3 se V8, after the install the vehicle went into a red rollover fault, which my independent mechanic could not clear. I took it to the stealer and they stated the truck needed a computer (firmware) update and that cleared the code. Then truck is running just like new............I hope this helps. Bill

Is it possible to rebuild them, sure would it be worth it not even a little bit. The heart burn of sourcing the parts and buying whatever specialty tools are need to rebuild the spring and strut assembly it would be insane.

OEM or Arnott would be my choice if I was buying new.

Thanks. If OEM is good and just replace without problem, it will be nice as it is much cheaper than the Landrover original brand. Just not sure is it require to have the firmware update

Replacing a Air Strut should not require a firmware update
