Default lr3 tires

Anyone know why 265/60/18 won't work on a stock lr3? Hers came with that size and I only drove it one time with them , they did not rub at normal that I noticed
and I am thinking that's what I want to buy since they fill the wheel well nice
Just don't want to buy em if there will be a known issue

According to the tire size chart on the Johnson Rod website, that size should fit without a lift.

My Wife has the Michelin A/T in this size. I have driven it on the bump stops, and cranked the wheel while turning and no rubbing at all.

I run Hankook dynapro atm with load index 112, 265-60-18's and they look perfect for the LR3, (IMHO) also you could still run snow chains without any rubbing.

Mx, I love the look of your LR3. I have a Java Black one and I would love to black out the wheels like you did and go with a more aggressive tire. I have Hankooks on mine now but they're 255's and more of an all season tire. How are yours in terms of ride, noise, etc.

Cargo rack and ladder are on the list too but the wife really questions why I need those items. Haven't really come up with a good response yet.

BTW, how did you get your wheels black (Plasti Dip, etc.)?

You tell her you need a rack, ladder, and tires because you are a man and this is Merica... Damnit!

Hold on, what's that honey? Sorry, I'll put down the toilet seat and come to bed.

That's right I'm the boss.
