LR3 Tow Hitch Receiver and traile hitch...PLEASE GUYS
For getting a better price just ask the dealer for a discount...they either sell one to you or they don't, their loss.
Also: http://lrparts.dealerfit.com/store/l...cat499_717.php It's a little cheaper on dealerfit or roverparts.com
I went through what you are currently experiencing last summer. Bought mine on ebay as well and bought the wiring harness from Atlantic British. Rest assured, there are not any aftermarket companies that install a traditional frame-type hitch on the LR3. Total cost for me was approximately $400. Beats the dealer price by mile though.

If you are looking for OEM and OEM only on any Land Rover part, contact mattsbeaglerescue@yahoo.com. They are a newer Land Rover dealership looking to break into the online parts business and are the best out there for OEM anything. They will sell any shipable Land Rover part for 20% over dealer cost. Thats wholesale prices or below without the need to have a your own shop and a ton of buying power.
Lowest around is usually $300. What do you expect though? You bought a high end SUV that sell for 50-90K new, of course parts are going to be expensive. Just wait till you have the warranty run out and you have a problem with the lift system
