I think i might get it done maybe this weekend. 2-1 downshift clunk is completely gone with the flush but i still have the 5-6 jerk and the tranny has a hard time deciding which gear to stay in when climbing a hill which im thinking is software related. thanks for your input

anyone have any ideas about the HDC transmission fault issue? i have got it 3 times so far since the flush. doesnt afffect drivability but lowers the suspension. its very random too. i have replaced the brake light switch a while ago too.

When you get the hdc fault what codes come with it?

i dont have a code reader so i cannot tell. but abs,dsc,traction light comes on. can the codes be read even when the lights go out?

The previous owner said they replaced the battery but im not too sure.it is around 35 degrees in the morning.would that make it weak? and it has rained a couple of days too.

I ask what codes cause mine had hdc that set a lot, with abs codes, ended up being bad connectors at the abs unit plug, a dealer tech friend fixed them in 10 minutes no more faults, its common enough he said there's a bulletin

Yours could be a similar issue

The female connectors stretch and make poor contact

did the reader pinpoint to the exact location?im probably gonna get my battery tested today. if thats not the case its gonna be a trip to the dealer 40 miles away lol.

I'd get HDC Faults at startup when my battery was low.
