Alternator going? What's the output?

Mine was giving tons of faults but weird abs ones, then started intermittently saying abs not installed/no communication with abs etc.

Been several months not and no faults

Default Transmission Fault

Hi,
My transmission F Fault light goes on only in the morning when the car is cold .It has a hard time kicking into gear. Once I get it going after warming up. The car drives sluggish for a little bit. By afternoon, the car is running just fine. Do you think this is a transmission flush issue?

It could be a low voltage issue. Cold weather makes it worse. Between you and me and the palm trees even my normal working tranny is just a little sluggish in the first mile or so of driving to work in the morning when it's cold. The fact that yours gives you a fault may be that PLUS a lower voltage. My old alternator used to give me HDC faults every once in a while during the winter.

Just had my transmission software updated this morning. They were a little hesitant at first as i have 117k miles but i told them to go ahead anyway and im super glad i did. The transmission feels super smooth. i cant even tell if the transmission is shifting unless i look at the rpm and listen to the engine revs. I feel like i have to press the pedal less to get to speed on the highway and all the shifting clunks are gone, except for the downshift clunk i get when slowing down and quickly press the accelerator again. Ive always had that and doesnt bother me as much. I would say it fixed 95% of my issues. I would recommend this for anyone who doesnt have wear issues with the tranny.

Any sluggishness or slow acceleration? One drawback I've heard of the transmission software update is that it can make the transmission sluggish, and won't kick down into a lower gear unless you really push the pedal to the floor.

A quick pull of the shifter left takes care of that...

To be honest, I never noticed any difference in transmission performance. Kushan may have had a different experience, idk.
