Default LR3 windshield installation specifications

Anyone have more detailed install specs for the windshield? I have the RAVE workshop manuals, but I am not seeing much beyond the very basics. Nothing about tolerances, gaps, measurements, etc. I ask because I had SafeLite put a windshield on, it was a HORRIBLE aftermarket one with defects. So they found a genuine OEM to install thanks to pressure from my insurance company. But it was installed a half inch low so the brow seal on top has a gap between it and the roof edge. This is certainly not to spec, but I would LOVE to find the actual specs and tolerances to show them. Because they seem to be dragging feet and not wanting to pull and properly set it again.

Get some pics from a factory original one from another vehicle would be my suggestion. I'm not sure where to find those specs otherwise.

The removal and reinstallation procedure on Alldata doesn't cite a specific measurement or tolerance. It does say to take note of four spacers when removing, and to match their position upon reinstallation.

When I needed a replacement I called the local LR dealer and asked who they used. Local shop, techs were great and knew exactly what to do. Even had OEM a-pillar trim clips on their van. Anyway, sounds like your stuck with these guys for now, hopefully they'll do the right thing.
